Default 81 degrees TV/38 here

I sure hope your temps hold.
I will be making my 1st trip to TV the 1st week of February.
LSV were all book up, so we had to go with a hotel.
But they are going to get us a tour and some other things that go with a LSV.
I have ordered a map & have a list of things to do that is getting to long for one week. I wanted to see the busy season @ TV.
Then we will come back in the off season.

Being a wannabe in the northeast, it's good that you get the bones warmed up so the rest of winter is more bearable.

Have a great trip.

Your right in that time will fly by so plan accordingly.

Actually that is caused by the Morses. You see they know if the weather up north is significantly worse than in TV, it is good for marketing. They like to keep at least a 30 degree differential between any visitors home and The Villages. Occaisionally they get carried away and the diff will be 40 degrees or more, but they are not perfect. Have a good time, we will be arriving on Feb 1st as well.

Your photos looks just like a good friend of mine that I lost a few years back.
I swear he faked is passing and moved the TV.

We used to be Villages wannabees for a few years....and then smartened up and left VT winters behind. Enjoy your brief stay as you'll find that you want to stay longer.

I am not your ruggedly handsome friend, and don't yet live in the Villages. Sorry he is no longer with us, but glad you are.

Cisco Kid, As a wannabee, I think you a wise to check out TV in the peak season and then to schedule a visit in the warm weather season, especially if you are thinking about living in The Villages full time. I have been to TV several times in the summer and fall but not yet during peak season as I still work full time and can only come to TV for about 7 to 10 days at a time. Have a great visit!

me too. Just got off the phone with my Dad in Dubuque, IA. 8 inches of snow in Dubuque and still coming down with 45 mph winds. Chicago will get brushed by this storm, but not get the full impact.
