Can anyone please tell me if there will be any problems with insuring a manufactured home in the historic area that was built in 1985? The home is in perfect condition, a one owner, but we have been told that insurance may be difficult to buy for it.
I appreciate your help and thank you for any advice in advance.

No it isn't a problem. We bot one in July....just call the Villages Ins. and they will direct you to where you need to go. (our MH is a '83 I believe?) They are great for snowbirds!

We had no problem when we bought our manufactured home in March. We went from the closing to the insurance agency and were done in less than an hour - we knew to bring the info from the spec sheet that is in the house with us [ours is in the master br closet]. I believe the agent was the Foremost agency located on 441/27 south near the state police building - I think there is another Progressive insurance agency close to Spanish Springs. Our home was delivered in 1986.
