Default Seeking Sewing and Embroidery Machine Advice

Hi Fellow Villagers, and especially those who have some sewing and embroidery experience!

I'm planning to purchase a new or used sewing & embroidery machine and could use some advice on the latest models.

I've owned a Husqvarna Diamond Deluxe sewing/embroidery machine and sold it when I moved to The Villages. I'm an experienced sewist and will not shy away from advanced features or functions.

My search has been narrowed to the Brother SE 1900, and the Eversewn Sparrow X2. These machines have a smaller footprint, and seem to have good quality and capabilities.

I've considered the machines below and thought over some concerns noted:
- Brother SE 625 (embroidery field is limited; too small)
- Pfaff Creative series (gorgeous, super expensive and then constantly upgrading)
- Janome Memory Craft 14000 (gorgeous, etc., see Pfaff)
- Husqvarna Viking various series (gorgeous, etc., see Pfaff and Janome)
- Older machines have older technologies that don't work anymore or need upgrades/updates, or need hard-to-locate-or-obtain conversion kits/cables/etc.
- Older machines with current technology could still be considered

I've looked at the numerous customer comments online for the Brother SE 1900, and especially the Eversewn Sparrow X2 as I have not previously been aware of this brand. I've looked at new and used items on eBay, TOTV Classifieds, Craigslist, and Offer Up.

Sometimes there's a good deal on a new or used item, but I'd like to get some input from any of you sewists that may have knowledge or advice about the Brother SE 1900 or Eversewn Sparrow X2. Or any other helpful advice.

Once our community groups begin to meet again I look forward to finding just the right sewing and/or embroidery club to make friends and share cool projects.

Thanks for your help!
Yvonne
