Unhappy wacky weather

Am I the only one who thinks this year has had wacky weather? Has it been wacky in the villages too? It warmed up to 63 degrees today. I want summer, and I want it now!!!!!! I need to have the exterior of my house painted so we can put it on the market and the painters say that as this rate getting it done this summer will be iffy. We have only had six sunny days in 4 months. I know the Pacific Nothwest is known for rain but in 15 years I have never seen this much gloom. On the up side we also didn't get any snow this winter.

Soaked in Seattle.

Trudy it was way colder than normal this past winter. Now we are running about normal every day meaning a high in the low 90s Were starting to get our afternoon storms too although it still seems a little dryer than normal. Good luck with the paint job..

TrudyM:

When I visited my Bainbridge Island friend several years ago in July and actually saw Mount Rainier, he made sure that I understood that outsiders experiencing such weather were NOT allowed to tell other outsiders about it! :-) :-)

You had more rain than usual. Here in TV we had a h*** of a lot more below-32 nights than usual.

My daughter in St. Louis complained all winter. So did her sister in Denver!

Mother Nature does what She wants, I'm afraid!

And, yes, I wholeheartedly agree that it was a Nasty Winter!

Here in Missouri we have not had "normal" weather (whatever that is) for a year. Last summer it was cool, almost nothings above 85 and low humidity which is very unusual. We also got rain regularly throughout the summer which made for great lawns, landscapes, gardens, and crops. Last winter we had more cold weather, and much more snow than any winter I can remember since the early 80s. Usually we get a couple of 2-4 inch snows in a winter, and this year we had several storms over 6", and a couple of 10 inchers

This spring has been pretty normal, but inconsistent. I am hoping for another nice summer like last year, so long as it is not followed by the brutal winter. Of course I will be in TV for Jan and Feb, so I just hope it is nice here.
