Give Garvino's a call or stop by:
Address: 1081 Canal St, The Villages, FL 32162
Phone: (352) 430-1435

Husband purchased a nice walking cane there 2 years ago in the gift shop.

I know you are looking for an affordable cane but, I thought I would thow this out there.

My 91 year old mother has several canes and three walkers! She has a heavy seated walker, a hospital type walker and a Stander Walker.

The Stander (some are now Able Life) folds up like an umbrella and weighs about 6 1/2 pounds. She doesn't get out of breath like she does with a cane and loves it for quick errands like the bank, beauty shop, church, etc. She uses the seated walker for longer walks and when I'm there to get it out of the car!

I got her Stander on Gold Violin's website but they now have them on Amazon. Her walker came with two side pockets. I think Able Life is on Amazon for $102, the pockets were around $19 and free shipping with Amazon Prime.

Mom first saw a lady have this walker at the beauty shop. At least, 5 ladies ordered the walker that week because they saw this ladies walker! Mom has had this walker for almost three years. She uses it all the time and it is still going strong. She did replace the back gliders one time.

Thanks for the information on walkers. I see different kinds of them here in the Villages.
