Hi,

I agree with everything that has been said here. We have a 36 yo son who wants to move in with us because of everything going on here.

We bought our house from a couple in their 90's, heard they could out dance and out last anybody half their age.

People do things here and enjoy each others company regardless of age. Just hope you and hubby can keep up with some of the folks who live here.

Steve, just curious, what does your son like about TV?

Our son was disappointed when we had to inform him he could not soup up our electric golf cart.

Fumar,

I may sound like a very selfish grandma and mom but boy do I ever agree with you on this one. It took me a lot of years to find this place and I think we all deserve to have some fun and happiness before we croak, course the kids wont understand this at all but we didnt alwys understand them either did we? We put up with a lot of crapeola from them when they were growing up now its their turn to put up with their crazy parents! 040 :hot:

I want to play (you pick it) like I am 40 but my knees feel like their 80 so I split the difference and smile.

Oh, I agree with both of you Fumar and Nonie. The kids spend the weekend only when we're not there! I love my kids but my sharing has limits......

My husband just turned 58. We have several people in their early 50's here in Tall Trees. Lot of Boomers are retiring now and you will continue to see lots of younger folks. However, I must tell you that I feel ten years younger than when we moved here and I am 64.

We play pinochle with people from 54 to 88 and we all get along great!

You will both LOVE it here! Come on down!!!!

I was totally blown away when we came to visit our 66 yr. old friend! I almost didn't recognize her because she looked 10 years younger! We are 55 & 60 respectively and are planning on moving to TV by the time we are 57 & 62 which actually means by spring or summer 2009 because our birthdays are in April and July so by July this year we'll be 56 & 61.

We currently have friends of all ages so TV doesn't feel any different. It seems that we saw as many youngsters in TV as in our community here in Boston because of visiting children & grandchildren in TV.

I truly am looking forward to that "turning back the clock" feeling folks talk about once they arrive in TV.
