Having always lived in colder climates, the summer heat and humidity and snakes are the two things I think will be the hardest for me to get used to. I know that snakes are a benefit in a lot of ways and I will never try to kill them, but that doesn't mean I will be purposely getting anywhere near them either.

A round of .22 rat shot from a Marlin Golden 39A lever action is not as loud as one nail being fired from a roofing air nail gun, which we typically hear thousands of time just about every day it is not pouring rain outside.

I had an off-site landscape company that told me that Black racers keep rattlesnakes away. Don't know how, whether they eat the eggs, small snakes or what, but they are aggressive yet harmless to us.

You can call me. I have a pair of long-handled Bar-B-Q tongs but I'm very expensive.

Called Macgregor and they kind of begged me to send all of the clubs back and they could not wait to send me a top of the line set of irons. Guessing there was kind of sorta some legal issue if someones head got in the way of a flying head.
I, ahhhh, kinda think you were on target with that "guess"..... LOL !

Do you all like rats better? Essential part of their diet along with mice and other small rodents. Don't bother them and they will go away.
