Default Air conditioner questions

I have seen numerous post about air conditioners failing due to the copper lines and such.

I have a new home in Buttonwood and am very concerned about the failure possibility that will not be covered by warranty or the developer.

Can anyone shed some light on this ongoing issue? Do I need to look into some sort of insurance for this or have The Villages corrected the issue about the installation of the lines?

The POA bulletin has info on that subject. They have changed the way the lines are installed on houses now under construction.

Default Handieman.

The person who was instrumental to defining this problem about the connections to the air conditioners and stepping on the right toes to get it corrected is Handieman from this forum. Perhaps you can PM him. He doesn't post much anymore.

John is also an excellent repair person and fixer person and all round handieman and is very reasonable in price. He helped us with many things in our new home.

This problem with connections is solved now.

The old way was buried under the slab, the new way is up and over in the attic.
