I am limiting my grocery shopping and for the last several weeks have only used curb-side pickup at Sam's. However, there are a few things I can't get at Sam's, and many things I prefer to buy at Aldis. For those of you who have been shopping at Aldis recently:
Are they been routinely out of certain categories of items, i.e., frozen meats (steak, chicken, etc.), paper goods, milk and eggs? The last time I was there (about 3 weeks ago) they were limiting purchases of many canned goods; are they now limiting quantities you can purchase of other categories of goods? I'm not trying to "hoard" any goods, i.e., buying 3 months supply of T.P., but if possible I would like to buy 2-3 weeks worth of items in order to limit the # of times I go grocery shopping. Has anyone noticed are there any "best times" to shop when the aisles are more fully stocked (and perhaps fewer customers in the store) than other times? First thing in the morning, right before they close, or other?? Finally, anyone know where to buy flour and/or yeast?? |
