Does anyone have an idea what this cement plaque is and if it has any use in my yard.

. Yea, those 2 rubber things on it look like the antennae for electronic meter reading like we have on our plastic meter boxes.

It’s something infrastructure related - probably water. From old castle infrastructure’s web site

“The Oldcastle FRP family of enclosures are produced in a unique hybrid process bonding strong, polymer concrete rings with high-impact resistant fiberglass sidewalls, forming a monolithic body. Paired with polymer concrete lid, select units are suitable for light or heavy incidental traffic. Specifiers can meet expected load ratings while installers can handle and modify with ease.“

Oldcastle claims to be the largest maker of precast concrete products in the country. They make a lot of concrete and polymer boxes that can be set into the ground where pipe junctions and valves are necessary. They also make storm water drainage systems.

Looks like a survey benchmark. They are all over The Villages, probably.

I live south of 466 and have two of these covers in my yard, both are water meters: one for potable (house) water and one for non-potable (irrigation) water. There are two meters under each cover, one is yours and the other is your neghbor’s.

I agree. What is unusual - for us south of 466 - is that it is precast. Our covers are black "plastic"

Yep, looks just like ours also ! Meter reader holds the long pole over them, "reading" I guess ?

It is the water meter. The houses to either side are hooked up thru this meter and read through the plastic disks on top. If you see a golf cart in your neighborhood with the name Jacobs on it, that is the meter reader
