May I suggest that you ask one of the Villages sales staff? They would be able to give you the best answer.

With the amount of spec homes on the market I would
imagine it could be very fast.
But I agree that you should call a sales rep.

Generally the homes here close in 30 days...exact. I would think it COULD be done sooner especially if it is a Cash sale. The only way to know is to ask a sales rep or the closing attorney you will use.

When we bought last summer it was just over 30 days for a cash sale. At that time there was a large backlog, might be less now, but not much.

They give you a closing date on the day of signing the contract.

To answer your question, yes it can be done in a week. However that might require some actions. First, buy a resale with a quick close available. Do a cash sale. Have everything you will need ready.

Another way if you want the quick close because you want to start living there, is to buy and rent that home until closing. Again, find a quick close resale because that usually means the seller can get out fast.

That's what I did, but exactly ten days.

7 days, ten days. You say potato and I say pototoe.
