Default The amazing sounds of a bagpipe

Tonight my wife and I were enjoying a cocktail around sunset, while the slightest sounds of bagpipes were carrying through the air. Not sure if it was a private home owner or possibly coming from LSL. For reference we are on the 8th hole of Alamanda (cg). If indeed it’s a resident keep it up. Simply sounded amazing to make the sunset even more enjoyable.
Props!!!

I'm not too far away from you, but far enough that I didn't hear it. Pity.
I, too, enjoy the sound of bagpipes.

Seriously something special to hear at sunset and we are not even Scottish. Hopefully the winds sometime changes in your favor.

I recall being down by the square at LSL and a smallish procession of bagpipers paraded by. I don't remember what the occasion was. I thought it was pretty cool. Sounded pretty great. I thought "there's a club for everything in The Villages."

Use to really enjoy the pipes. Since all the funerals I had to attend after 9/11 I cannot listen to them. Breaks me down every time.

Aside from a trip to Edinburgh a few years ago, the only time I ever hear them are at my family or law enforcement funerals. I am not that sentimental. I love the sound. But, when they play Amazing Grace, I will lose it every time.
