How can I turn off Rufus on Amazon?

However, it also makes it hard to actively choose whether to summon Rufus or not. Each Rufus response can easily be dismissed, but there's no way to turn the chatbot off entirely once you have access.

On a PC or phone?

Your question is a direct cut and paste from an amazon help chat, is that you as well?

Yes, I copied from google...just wondering if anyone was able to figure it out.

I'm using my laptop; it's just annoying, that's all

Try searching your drive for Rufus and see if you can uninstall it or force the app to close? I see where that has worked for some people in that same forum.

CCleaner has a free app & allows you better deletion of listed apps on your system. I’d try that. (If it doesn’t work, I’d just open a new Amazon account; watch out for Prime or Kindle subscriptions).

Sorry but, Who's Rufus? I use Amazon a lot. Never met him.

It's Alexa's brother-in-law, and a cousin of Siri.
