Is there a way to go by cart to the WalMart on 466 with the construction beside Bells?

Cars and golf carts share the road through the Buffalo Ridge area. There is one golf cart tunnel under the road next to Crispers (near Publix) and another just before Wal-Mart itself on the left side of the road as you head toward Wal-Mart. Hope this helps.

Yes!

If you are South of 466 and East of the Highschool Football field you will take the tunnel under 466 going North this tunnel is across from the Library. Then you will go to the tunnel heading beside Crispers and go under Belvedere Blvd heading West. After out of the tunnel then go to the left to Wedgewood Lane which is the first street North of 466 and will run to the tunnel by Golden Corral this tunnel goes under road 103 and pops out by Big City Grill. Then on to WalMart.

There is a great map available at the sales centers which is free. It is called The Villages General Area map and shows only the main roads. It shows the cart paths and tunnels I highly reccomend it. Just ask the people that open the doors for this map. You will be glad you did.

Hope this answers your question.

If you want a real adventure, try taking your cart to Lowes and the Walmart on Rt. 441.

Default golf tunnel under 466

Has there been any info on the "rumble strips" put on the tunnel under 466 at Belvedere? Are these only a trial or something new to come on all tunnels?

Could they possible replace the dreaded bumpers at Bridgeport gate with rumble strips? I for one would rather drive over strips than that horrible teeth chattering bumper.

Default The desert run to walmart and beyound!!!

In-dy guy and cassie are right ...

If you get bored and want an experience ..head for the bridge over 441 and make you way to lowes and walmart.....
Its called the desert run for good reason....i recommend that you wear a cap with a white shade in the back to cover your neck.
Its a long trip through Baron wasteland , but fun....if you decide to do it then prepare yourself for the trek to the far side ........you will think you are lost but just keep going and when you come to the monument to field marshal Rommel just bear left and keep going ...what ever you do, take water , and it wouldn't hurt if you took some c-rations , you can get them at bj gators as I'm sure thats what i had for dinner there about two months ago....
Now if you see someone you think looks lost its probably my wife , i suggested she try this route 2007 but if you don't want to bother its ok....i'm sure she will show up any day now and with my luck she'll have new golf clubs.........
Me ? I'm still using persimmon clubs that were given to me by Gary when we bought our house...their autographed too ( btw , who was Walter hagen anyway ) ...bags still in good shape ,found a picture of sally rand in the zipper pocket........
Well have fun and be careful , i was told that thats where the buffalo are....i think those red bows are just a decoy don't you ???????

Everything was tried to get carts to even stop at the Bridgeport gate. Without the bumpers carts will drive right through the stop signs. Cart drivers think they have the right away, here and other places in TV. For all you new owners....just assume the automobiles always have the right away, and you will be fine.
