Well here goes on my 1st hand experience joining " Costco " & using the Code " EBGCOST " as per the above suggestion.

Online I joined 08/26/2025 Executive Cost $ 130.00 per year with a 2nd person complimentary, so far so good. Next I inserted the coupon " EBGCOST " the cost came back $ 129.00 a savings of $1.00. ???. I joined at the cost of $ 130.00 with automatic renewal after 1 Year.

Next stop Costco 08/27/2025 AM at the Customer Service to pick up cards ( 2 ) wife and myself...location is outside the entrance to Costco wait time approx.10 minutes smooth, ID photo taken, cards issued all within ( 5 ) minutes. Easy... Next my questions to the customer service representative.

#1 The Coupon Code " EBGCOST " the representative had No Idea nor did he ever hear of this code all news to him plus did check with the " Supervisor " who equally had No Idea what this Code was for.... Next question.

#2 Military Discount I am Retired Military. Answer " Yes ". Showed my ID and will receive in 4-6 weeks a Coupon worth $ 40.00. I am guessing that Costco Honors all Veterans with this terrific offer much like Lowes & Home Depot.

Foot Note: On the Costco web site there is a place where Veterans can join Costco for a discount ....however a person needs to " Join " this site requiring personl information, and Costco has put in a disclaimer.

So that is my first hand experience Wife and Myself between 08/26/2025 PM and 08/27/2025 AM.

We delt with Costco " Direct " without the ahem Code " EBGCOST " which was useless according to the employees of Costco plus got the Military Discout.

Hope this information helps those who plan on joining.

Lastly this was our very 1st time shopping at Costco our reaction.... WOW>>>WOW>>>and WOW !!!
