Well welcome back. I find with playful amusement this transition we all seem to go through.
When I first arrived from Minneapolis shorts short sleeve shirts and sandal were the uniform of the day unless the temp dropped below 45 degrees. I never dropped the panels on my cart until the temp dropped below 40 degrees.

Advance six years and at 60 degrees i am in long pants and layered with a sweater and jacket with the panels down on my cart.

So as you travel through The Villages and see those in shorts and sandals they are most likely seasonal residents.

Brrrr where is the warm weather?

Well Rubi, I see the weather is forecast to be 80s the next couple of days, that should thaw that Minnesota perma-frost from your bod.

I guess I would feel the same way after a few years of Florida weather but for now, 80 degrees sounds heavenly for those in the cold climate of the northeast and upper midwest.

We are going to have a heat wave this weekend as the temps might make it to 50.

But that winter breeze continues so I am staying with the long pants for a time. What a wimp I have become
