Default Another "Wowser" house being built.

I love to see the unusual homes being built here, either in stucture or in setting. I posted a year or so ago about the big Grandview being built on the point of Lake Miona in Pennecamp. I found the different interior, the huge lanai and pool and the view just breath taking.

There is a home being built now at Bridgeport at Laurel Valley and it will have six bedrooms and five baths. The Birdcage houses a pool that will have a huge planter in the middle and the Birdcage itself is one of the biggest I have seen here, encompassing almost the whole lot. You can see the pillars for the birdcage because it is close to 466.

It is fun to walk through in the evening after the building crews have left.

It's "Gracie, you're trespassing," said DDoug.

gracie would NEVER trespass! cruising the new construction is necessary to keep us all informed!

we did notice that new construction in Bridgeport at Laurel Valley - could not help it when driving on 466!. made my husband drive in so that we could check it out from the front - and it is a wowser for sure! love the pool idea - but not a fan of six bedrooms - would never want that much company all at once! nor would i care to tackle cleaning that many bathrooms! wish we would be here to see it completed - will just hafta wait for next winter - gives us something else to look forward to!

Default 6 bedrooms?

Sounds like a b&b.

Talking

Gracie's not trespassing! She's squatting so she can claim the property under the laws of adverse possession!

I love going through the new homes being built. It's wonderful to see what people are doing to theirs homes.

I try to take pictures as often as I can so that when I meet them, I can give them the pictures. Someone did that for me and I was thrilled. The pictures I received from The Villages, were nice, but NOTHING like the pictures my friends and neighbors took for me!

Gracie couldn't be trespassing since she's the offical/unofficial inspector and reporter for TOTV readers and viewers!

Besides, the builder/developer is the actual owner at this stage.

Oh Thank you Capt. John! When we were building our house we would meet all kinds of folks walking through it and would always say..."This is a nice house, is it yours?" Some would say yes and some no. I see no harm in it, unless you fall in the pool hole or something.

Sounds like somebody has more dollars than sense. What retired couple could use that much space?

Default There is a steady stream of visitors to that house.

We ran into a couple from Scotland the other night.

If you are gonna look at it, do it in the next couple of days. It will soon have interior floor surfaces down and then to me it IS trespassing, or messing up or hurting someone's else's place, to walk on it with dirty feet when the floors and carpets are down.

I really never thought of it as trespassing or anything wrong, We have done it our whole life long in new neighborhoods in which we have built; looked through homes in our area under construction. The house we just moved into was the seventh house we have built and the nineth new home we bought in our life time. And the best experience, so far.............We met people going through our new house here all of the time when it was being built. I always thought they just liked to see how it was done. No harm.

And as for it's size, I heard that the owners are from Canada and can't use it for more than six months out of the year. They have several children and grandchildren that will be visiting them I guess. (But no more than 30 days for the year for the kids)

I hope they enjoy it and treasure every moment.
