The biggest one was taking that first cigarette when I was 18. Tried and tried to stop for so many years, feeling so disgusting about stinking and what I was doing to my lungs. 20 years later, finally quit for good in 2003.

I would probably have done hundreds, if not thousands of things differently. But there are very very few things that I regret.

Default Valued money over time

I tried for 6 months to get an extra $10,000 for my house up north. Now that I'm here I would gladly pay that amount for those 6 months back so I could use them in The Villages.

Wow, lots of Sinatra fans. Probably nothing different on our end.

I took the wrong road when an ex-boyfriend apologized and I refused to go back to him. The biggest mistake of my life. Found him on FB last year, but now married. What a huge regret.

I would have been more responsible with my money and retired ten years earlier in my 40s.

ditto here La - same story to a T. Back then, it was the "in thing" - me= Marlboros, just like the cowboys in the ads. Tried to quit 25 times over the years. Finally in mid-90's, had a very bad flu, and after 4 days of stopping had the fortitude and will to stop for good - one more day at a time. One of the toughest things to accomplish in my life. But after all these years, I could STILL go for a puff after that first coffee in the morning. Just shows the easy addition to the human body. I imagine folks addicted to Crack, etc etc.
