Default Any Rentals Homes For Sale?

I want to buy a rental!
How do I find an Owner/Landlord in The Villages who wants to sell and 'protect' their long-term tenants?
Owners must occasionally sell their rentals. But I never see one advertised.

Our long term rental sold in 27 hours. Problem is many don’t want to keep it as a rental, because of shortage of homes. In the south you can’t have an investment property, so they are scarce

Who told you that you can't have a investment property in the south? That is not true, I have one and so do lots of other people that I know.

I am guessing you purchased prior to October of 2021. End of last year any new property could not be used for investment, it’s in the paperwork you sign, and agree to. Preowned not included.

We sold our long term in October, and planned to buy in new area for another investment. Our rep of 9 years gave us the bad news of no investment property. You can fight the developer, but their pockets are too deep.

You could rent after signing the new paperwork, but our attorney strongly advised against.

I have a property which I rent, that will be going up for sale within a few weeks. However, it is in Stonecrest, and the tenants are leaving. 3br, 2 baths, great location, 1400 sq. ft. fully furnished, "turnkey". Built in 2019. $345,000.00.

I think OP wants a rental that has a long term tenant already.

Hello,

I tried to reply to this earlier today but not sure if it went through. Anyway my parents and I have a patio villa we might sell that’s in the Lynnhaven area. It has renters that would love to come back. If interested please feel free to call me on my cell 408-422-0711.

Thank you,
Danon

Default Why buy an 'occupied' rental?

Working under the assumption that the existing tenants are trustworthy and have a motive for working with the new owner for their and his own security
