Default Anyone getting rid of a 75-inch TV box?

I'm looking for a 75-inch TV box I can pick up this weekend south of Brownwood. I have something I want to ship and it is just about the right size box. Looking for a minimum of 4-feet wide (48-inches) X 5.5-feet high (66 inches). Anything a bit bigger is okay also. Only needs to be 3 to 6 inches wide or so.

Drop me a PM / DM if you have one you're looking to recycle.

Thanks!

Go hang out at Sam’s or Costco and see if someone buys one.

Try contacting Best Buy and see if they have a box from a display unit.

You might be able to buy one at Home Depot, or on Amazon.

These are all good tips, thank you. Not quite sure how to "Make your own," Sparky. I do know someone with a box factory, but they're up in Indiana and the family runs that business. I won't prevail upon them for the favor.

I'll go the U-haul route if I can't find someone getting rid of theirs for free and recycle a little as added bonus.

You do not say what it is, what it is worth or if you are shipping it. You may need a wooden crate-not cheap. Experience with movers. If, you pack it and it is broken they will claim not properly packaged. If, they pack it, likely not as well as you would. They give it more careful handling. Big boxes-bikes come in big boxes.
