Let me elaborate on my previous posting. I’m a New yorker and in N.Y. there are 3 ways of doing things.
You can do things the proper way, wait forever if it gets done at all, you can do things the improper way and hope you don’t get caught or you can look for a work around.
Again, this is you have the financial means. You price out a Village villa, go to the bank and put down the required amount to purchase and get a mortgage. You claim you are buying this for your children. They pay you cash under the table each month to cover the interest which is tax deductible on your end and if in a year or two if it does not work out and you can sell it for what you paid, it will have also made a bit of a profit on the principle that has been paid.

Under 55 can rent or buy in the Villages as long as they don't have any children under 19 years old.

I passed by a new apartment complex on 466 called Rolling Acres Reserve. Their website showed prices $1200 to $2400. I can’t vouch for the quality or what the landlord is like. Good luck.

Just a moment...

Just know that you can NOT get them guests passes if they live that close. Anyone living within a 50 mile radius can Not use our facilities.

Pretty sure there is an exception for "immediate family members"...

MANY folks are earning money in areas other than real estate. Things are different nowadays.

The monthly cost to own a small patio villa is approx $1200. Outside of the Villages, apartments range $1900 - $2400. The apartments in Brownwood and Spanish Springs are more expensive.

Look around. $1900/month rent for a 1600 sq ft villa or home is a bargain.

I saw a man holding up a sign on the corner of Morse and 466. The sign said something like Apartment One Month Rent Free with an arrow pointing towards Rolling Acres. This might be the apartments you mentioned.
