Default Artifical Putting Green

I'm tired of fighting with the St. Augustine in my back yard and am considering an artifical putting green instead of re-sodding. I've seen quite a few around and am wondering who designs/installs them. If you've had this done, and are happy with the results, please provide your supplier name and phone. If you're comfortable doing so, please provide cost/sq ft that you paid. Thank you.

Oh, and I know I will need ARC approval.

Be sure you consider potential drainage issues with the artificial grass, even if you get ARC approval, some of the heavy downpours we get could give you significant problems.

Over the years I’ve seen many of these putting greens, but never once have I actually seen somebody using a single one of them.

My brother-in-law recently moved to Leesburg and he used Boomyards. I texted Pat and he said he would recommend them. Pat is an avid golfer and put his under their birdcage. They installed some serious drainage under the artifical green. Leesburg was hammered yesterday (6/28) with torrential rains and the green was just fine. Took them a few days to install.

There is a slight roll to two holes and the third is a long putt. He uses the green to practice and teach his grand-daughter to putt.

He paid over 6K though--those greens are expensive. He said another vendors quoted him over 11K (he told that guy he was crazy).
