Default Landscaping

I am having a difficult time finding a landscaper. My first contact was E-Scapes, who came to my house and said he would get back to me with a quote. I never heard from him again. I next contacted Ron's Landscaping and left a message. I have yet to hear from him. The same with VillagesLandscaping. I now doubt that I would do business with any of these companies. If they can't respond to an initial call I can only imagine what might take place once they started the job. Does anyone know a good landscaper?

It seems to be the trend here. Just got stood up by the third house cleaner! They each were supposed to come to my house and give me a quote.....nothing!

My husband and I have used Brothers Landscaping for rock, curbing, palms, etc. Most recently we had them do pavers on our driveway. This is not a huge, elaborate outfit that will produce drawings, etc. - but, these fellows are hard working, honest and reliable. Their paver/stone work is exceptional. We have been extremely happy with their work. They do all jobs - large and small. Contact Diego or Alberto at (352) 348-5461. PM me if you would like to see the work they did for us.

Call Village Palms. They are not Villages Landscaping. Village Palms has a nursery location on 466 and you can pick stock or have them pick. Very professional company and they do a nice job and fast. I've recommended them quite a bit and they have done many jobs in our neighborhood. All are happy with them.

Jimbo, I seem to recall that when you did your yard you looked for a landscape designer. Did you find one? Our landscaper put the infrastructure in place four years ago and it's okay, but we've removed many shrubs because of overcrowding or disease, or because they're a pain, i.e., knockout roses.

Just would like someone with an artistic sense to do a rough plan or sketch of specific shrubs to buy. Since the plan wouldn't involve trees, just shrubs, it is a DIY project.

No, the landscapers here pretty much are just rubber stamping all the homes look the same kinda, U know Stepford types

They suck you in for expensive curb walls in tan color.

As far as landscapers they have sooo much demand with new houses they are jacking their prices more than ever, so it is always better to have ONE Plan that you shop with, not a different one from each.

From what I've seen Ron's does some nice "different" designs and he knows what he recommends.

Just be ready to take a second mortgage out to pay for it.

they throw numbers out like $10K-$40,000 without details or breakdowns.

I can recommend "All American kwick Kerb and Landscaping". They did a great job on my yard and I just loved working with them. They were inspired and professional and very friendly to my neighbors as well. The results are stunning, according to all my neighbors, and they worked within my budget. Call Jim @ 352-266-4539

Another vote for Sabrina McGowan at (352) 274-4189. I had many questions after installation and she responded to all with a positive attitude.
