This is an update to my request for information on stick vacuum cleaners.

I purchased the NISE from Amazon, it arrived today and I could not wait to try it. It is amazing. It cost $55 which is less than a meal out, and it works just great. We have a large very hairy dog and it even picks up pet hair. Great buy, could not be happier. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a good vacuum for small places.

Yes, got the name wrong, but the vacuum is still great.

I like my Miele canister. Long cord, quiet and has attachments.

Interesting question. Recently got my late MIL’s Dyson stick that had been sitting in her garage. It won’t charge so I went to Sharkey’s to have the battery replaced. Was told it was junk and can’t be repaired but they could sell me a Simplicity. He said all Dysons are terrible with poor customer service. Friend told me the Dyson people were wonderful and customer service walked her through the replacement. I will try that. In addition, decided to check out the sewing machines next door. After walking around the store for many minutes while being ignored by the man and woman at the cash register, I left. The woman followed me to my car and accused me of stealing fabric. What a disgusting way to run a business.
