Default New in Palo Alto

Last night at 7:30, my husband and I became homeowners in TV. We bought a home in Palo Alto, North of 466, 2.6 miles from SS. Other than a small dining area, it is almost everything I wanted. It is in move in ready, but I will have the interior repainted.

When we sell our other home, we will build a pool at the new one, and probably make two windows into a sliding glass wall.

I am very happy to have found this home, but am a bit in shock that now we own it. No more searching the "for sale in TV" anymore! We are looking forward to living in TV.

Pat.

I think most of us go through a little shock period after buying a home in TV. We are so influenced by the place, certainly not by pressure from sales people, but by the ambiance of the place itself. I know I had mood swings for days after we committed to buy. Most of us have been pretty non impulsive with big purchases over the years and I can't tell you how many really grounded people have told me that they bought on the life style tours, just as we did. I haven't heard any of them tell me that they regretted it.Each day I become more euphoric about our decision to have a home with all of you in Paradise!

Welcome. May you enjoy every second of your time here.

Cassie and graciegirl, thanks for the welcome!

24 hours later and am very happy with our purchase. Hope to visit our home- to-be Friday or Saturday to measure and take pictures. Then, probably won't be in it again until we close, Dec.1. We don't plan on fully moving in until maybe spring 2009. Have lots of decluttering to do where we live now.
