Hi all of you Lily-lovers!
I'm brand new to this VIllage Talk. We're still up here in CT, but have fallen in love with the Lily. We're a little confused that the picture shows the golf cart garage, but the floor plan doesn't. Does that mean that if would cost extra? Your advice is wonderful, so I'm listening closely (I like the screen door idea and the stackable doors).
Now we just have to fix up our house to put on the market, then we'll be right down!
Can't wait!

Our cost was $539...almost $100 more than friends. Ours was a special order because the color wasn't one of the basics. Our home is green. It matches
beautifully. They come to your home and show you a demo and colors. Then they do take a $100 deposit and install it in a few weeks time. Terrific job!

Pa & Giggi..the models are decorated by the designers at Southern Lifestyles ( The Villages owned furniture store in Lake sumter Landing) I believe they give Villagers a 10% discount off of their furnishings and YES... they will help you to design your home.

just purchased a lily and yes the golf cart garage is an additional expense on the lily but it is standard on the iris which is the same floor plan as the lily except the spare bedrooms are smaller... the sliders in the living room are not stackable on the lily model... the designers that work for southern lifestyles will help you free of charge decorate your home and offer a 5% village discount and free delivery/setup if you buy from them... both southern lifestyles and direct furniture work together to provide access to most large furniture stores so you can shop from home and order it thru them... i picked most of my furniture out from the ashley stores where i currently live, gave (Gay, my designer from southern lifestyles who is excellent BTW) the name and sku numbers of all the pieces i wanted, she has ordered them all for me and will have the furniture loaded in for me the day before i close on the house... they are village employees so they have keys to the models if you want to go look at them without your salesman and they have access to your home before you move in so your bed is already set up and you can just head straight for happy hour at the square... pm me if you have any other questions... happy to help...

as a newbie,
we had phantom screens installed on monday
from cleveland ohio and have phantom at our house there and enjoy the open airy space of the screens on a french door.
i call the distributor at 9am on monday and an installer was at our house by
1pm to install 2 doors, one for the front door and another on the entry door in the garage, emilinates the laundry room smell and heat.

the installer build the screen in front of your house out of his truck, no guess work, measure and install. great service,

So the Lily doesn't come with stackable doors but can I order it as an extra? I really think it would make a difference. Has anyone upgraded to these doors and if so, do you remember about how much of a difference it was? Just trying to prepare my self so I don't have a shocked look on my face when the rep gives me the price.
