Default New home price increase

Some of the designs went up again this month. Gardenia went up $600 on the base price. It has gone up $2400 since April. At least I'm locked into the current price after signing the contract on Thursday to build it. Looking forward to 12/21 for the closing.

Goodness! The Ivy just went up $900! Good thing we're locked in (closing 12/12/12). Our sales agent once told us that the smaller increases reflect price changes in supplies and labor that are being passed on to the buyer...but the chunkier increases are coming directly from TV (and I'm assuming are based on supply and demand). Wouldn't be surprised to see one of those chunkier increases when the new model section opens...they just released a ton of the older models for sale so it's coming!

Yes the whispering Pine took a $800 hit, but they also added a few things as least.
We don't go to design until Dec so there may be more, but I can't worry about things I can't control.
At least we still get a 3.5% discount off list for whatever that's really worth.

Threads like these are joyful for those who have recently bought and the house prices keep going up up! Means we can sell ours for more

Your rep will get a preview of those new items in the new few weeks at the new design center.
