Hello! I’m mostly retired. Age 61, like to explore TV. Any agents or landlords? Looking for a short term rental in the Area. I like tennis/pickle all, boating/fishing…. Please text me : 646-236-3871 with any leads…. Thanks 🙏 you guys are the best!

A friendly suggestion. you should never put you phone number in a post on any forums (like this one). Hackers/Spammers, have bots that just automatically look for phone numbers and add them to their auto spam calling bots. Some forums do provide privacy so only verified members can read the posts, but you never know if the one you are on does that.

So, best rule to follow is just don't post your real phone number without masking it, like "six 4 six 236 thirty eight seventy one."

Good advice, however, you also reposted his phone #, so even if he did change his post yours still stands, until you delete.
What you should have done when you quoted off was deleted part of post with phone #. Until then your friendly suggestion would only continue to help hackers/spammers.

Seems to be your favorite word.

In my opinion, TV is too large to consider the average age of the entire community. As others have said, areas generally differ.

Anybody over 19 can buy a house here as long as nobody under 19 lives there. The Villages can and does allow up to 20% of the homes be owned by people under 55

Interesting but why do you think that?

There are people ranging from 50 to God knows what you are going to love it

Just wondering about average age groups there & if there are many in their
80's. Thanks - Arnie

There's a guy and gal on my street that are in their 40s who are in the percentage of people who are allowed to be less than 55. This is in the Fenney area. But there are people here also who are brand new residents and in their 80s.

Who cares though since you have to be somewhere. And if you are going to be somewhere why not be here-here.

Plus you might live to be 120 years old which is 40 years away.

From the way folks drive around here, the average age looks to be about 125

My husband an I are new to TV and are ages 65 nd 70 and have met quite a few Villagers 80+ as well as those in their 50s. Don't think you will have any trouble finding a tribe in TV since most tribes form out of mutual interests and not age. Until she passed away a few years ago one of my closest friends for many years was my mother's age. Our friendship began when we worked together as nurses in a hospital ER, and it was our mutual love of travel that led to developing our close friendship which we took many trips together which memories of them I cherish.

No, but you can call me Shirley because that is my name. My father got to name his baby sister and he picked Shirley after Shirley Temple who was his favorite childhood star and I was named after my aunt. Could have been worse and I ended up with an aunt named Spanky.
