Default 11th hour storm preparations

I've been out an about this week, running the necessary errands to prep for the storm. I've noticed "some" folks just pulling their patio furniture and grills up under their eaves rather than bringing them inside. I've also seen some planters still outside as well. We're told to bring in EVERYTHING as they could well become projectiles. This is concerning to me. In my neighborhood, I KNOW for a fact it's not snow-birds but folks who live here full-time! If they read this forum...they need to take heed or their neighbors need to if they're watching the house while those folks headed north to get out of "harm's way".

I agree with you 100%--as of 9/9 8pm a lot of people never moved in their outdoor furniture or grills--shame on them---some people just don't 'get it'

Knock on their door if possible move it yourself....you may save a life or property damage. After Hurricane Charlie, huge steel girders were bent to the ground and it looked like a bombed out city. This storm is real and even a 2 can spin off tornadoes.
