Why has the number of bait shacks that are open decreased. We remember three, sometimes four operating, now it's usually two. The employees do a great job, but since installing the pad devices to record sales, it does take longer to do a sale. Again, good job by the staff working them.

Long lines mean fewer drinks sold at happy hour prices.

At happy hour I pay 6 dollars per double. They are not losing money, and I tip on the regular price. With the new registers and now accepting credit cards the servers are getting fewer tips for that peak period. So please remember them; far too many times I've seen people leave no tip even after ordering four specialty drinks.

Depending on who is playing getting a drink at happy hour prices are impossible. I gave it up.

I thought the thread was literally about bait shops and wondered why they were selling fishing bait on the square

The build out on this side is about over...drink prices have increased, size of cups are smaller and size of pours smaller also.
It's all about profit not about 1/2 drunk potential home buyers experiencing the villages lifestyle. Remember when you first got here and ordered a vodka you would only get a splash of tonic.
