Default Bait stations

We bought our house last May. The previous owner had bait stations from Massey. We went with Deans. Now we get a call from Massey who, when we told him we went with another firm, hung up. Then called back and said that the bait stations are their property and they must therefore come pick them up. Doe this sound reasonable?

Probably, Deans has bait stations, we used them for years until the quality of their workers go so bad we had to find another service.

We paid about $20 each for the installation of stations around our house. Looking at prices online, it's hard to tell if that price included the station or just the labor and actual bait inside the station.

When we started with Massey the pesticide guy gave us some rather cheap stations as extras but if same cannot imagine why they would want them back/.

Default Bait stations

They tried to charge me more than the cost for the bait stations when I asked to put them in. Went out and bought my own - problem solved ! They cost about $25 for the good ones. You can get them cheaper than that though

Sure let them have them , no longer being baited no need to keep them , probably a little sour grapes involved from Massey.

Here's the rub. We expect they will dig them out and leave holes in the ground. is it reasonable for us to demand they fill those holes?

Keep a close eye on DEANS as many people in TV have been scammed by that company - including yours truly! Would look for an independent company such as Mid Florida Pest Company (Ronnie) who we have used for years and he is reliable and the price is right- you would not be disappointed!

I would have the house treated for termites with the chemical injection method instead of the bait system. It's less expensive and requires no regular monitoring.
