No, I do a holiday bonus, usually at thanksgiving.

I don't need to ask anyone how much I should tip someone for anything. If it feels right, I will do it. If it doesn't, I won't. Why do you need to ask? Tipping is a voluntary gift, based on what you think is right. You don't owe anyone a tip. How much you tip is nobody's business except your own.

Ok. So... I have a large cleaning service company. They send 3 people every other week. Cost is $ 212 per month. I should tip each of these people $212 at Christmas? Divide $212 between the three of them? That would be about $70 each. Either way sounds too much to me? Your thoughts?

I have a service also that sends 3 people. I tip them $20 a time - let them divvy it up. Mine is a monthly service, $146 a time.

So $212 is the cost of 2 visits, or $106/visit. Give each of the 3 $35 at Christmas.
Do you get the same 3 people every time? Even so, the ones working at Christmas benefit. Most employees know not to quit just before the holidays.

Oh how I wish that was how things are. Tipping has gotten out of hand. Everyone has their hand out. Newspaper delivery and even mail people mail cards to our home. They include pictures of their children . Really??
