Default Villages south of 44

Now that The Villages extends all the way from route 42 to route 44 what do you think the chances are that they will move south and east of 44 and 468.
Morse Blvd will connect with 468 in the near future. North of 44 The Villages extends almost a mile east of 468.
There is almost 2800 acres of land south of 44 and east of 468 to the turnpike that is owned by two individuals. The Bailey brothers own 658 acres of land and Daryl M Carter owns 2156 acres of land.

What do you think the chances are that The Villages will someday extend all the way to the turnpike?

Anything is possible. I never thought they'd build in Lake County again and they will be with The Villages of Fruitland Park. Key West is a long ways away. lol

It seems to me TV resumed building in Lake County well before The Fruitland Park thing. If you get on 44 go east of Brownwood four or five miles you will see land improvement going on, on the north side of 44 now do a u turn after you pass the improvements and as you come back west you will see a sign that says "Welcome to The Villages"

Better than even odds that the Villages of Lake Sumter, Inc. will continue to grow this community as far as the IRS allows them

ask some of the folks who once upon a time were wondering if TV would ever go further south than 466 (not to be confused with 466A).

TV will continue as long as the appropriate land for developement continues to become available.

I can just visualize 20 years from now, someone will be asking what is the best way to pick up a passenger at The Villages International Airport.

Although it may not seem like it, everything you described is in Sumter County. So "the Fruitland Park thing" is the first return to Lake County for many years.

Well, once TV reaches Disney World's boundaries, the developer may have to stop... And the Gulf and Ocean provide fairly firm boundaries. Other than that, I wouldn't bet my life savings on the ultimate boundaries...

Of course, if we reach and take over Kennedy Center, maybe he could start building in orbit!

I think there is no question TV will continue to expand where ever it can and I hope it does.

If there is any doubt, just look at the sales center in Brownwood.

That place wasn't built for a build out occurring in 1 1/2 years!

I think as long as this builder can find property to build on he will keep building. There are a lot of empty fields around here and he has very deep pockets. Why stop a good thing?
