Default Steam cleaners

Read an article in today’s paper about steam cleaners for all home cleaning jobs, not just carpets. I didn’t even know that such a thing existed, anyone out there using one? Happy with it? Which brand?

I have a Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner. I bought it to clean my large tile showers. It sanitizes with steam. I researched and made sure it was hot enough to kill germs. It makes it a rather quick job and you don't need any cleaning products other than you have to use distilled water, which is cheap, but you go through quickly. It takes almost 10 minutes to heat up. There are videos online you can watch on how it works. I have used it on my windows as well and it cleans, but leaves a lot of water, so I only use on the outside. I have Trinity LVP floors and use a Bissell steam cleaner on them on the low setting, which works great. Hubby plans on using the bigger Dupray Neat steamer on his car wheels and outdoor gas grill.

Does it actually produce steam? I understand that most carpet "steam" cleaners use hot water, not steam.

We used our steamer (yes it does produce steam, that is very hot) for our floors, baths, windows. Doesn’t leave any water, but even using weekly on tile floor, I need two cloth covers to finish, because it picks up a lot of dirt. Sadly after 12 years it died, so looking for a new brand
