Default Bay Street Players in Eustis

We went to Eustis for a Saturday matinee to see the Bay Street Players in
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee . We hadn't been to the historic State Theatre before this. I thought I'd post to see if anyone else has been. It is very small but very nice venue. The community theatre group was terrific. The up-close interaction with the audience was hilarious and great fun.

It made for a really nice day outside of TV. (Things I would normally take for granted in a town like teenagers, police directing traffic, parents with strollers, a carnival, a cat sitting on the sidewalk; all seemed out of place for a minute or two.) We plan on going again in April to see the play Social Security and will be trying out a new restaurant. We ate at the Dockside something or other on the way home. It was okay. I wouldn't take guest there.
