Hmmm...maybe that's what my friends husband saw in the paper. Personally, I think they are better suited for here, and I've got them coming up to mill around. Those rural areas can be beautiful, but you can't beat the amenities here...my opinion. We lived down in Cape Coral on Gulf access canals, as does my friend, so it is an adjustment here, but nonetheless I love it, and I'm hoping once I get her to see it they will to. You just can't imagine it here till you've been here. Thanks for all the positive input. It can't hurt them to look around. Appreciate it!!

Good idea, let them look around all they want. I did the same before I purchased here. For personal reasons, I was having a hard time with Village sales people so I looked around the area for other communities I might like. Guess what,,,, when I came back to TV, I realized what I would be missing. So it can't hurt, they'll realize how wonderful TV really is.

I hope you get what you want, its great to have old friends move here.

Having regrets after a year or so, it will be much easier to deal with reselling a Villages home vs a home in a 1000 lot development where there are only 25 lots sold. Granted, nothing is a sure thing, but the history and price movement in TV is certainly a positive.
good advice, thanks

Yeah...we only moved to move here, so it was easy for us. They just feel like it's time for something else in this stage of their lives, but (lucky me) wanted to be close to where we are! (Boy that made my day!) Thanks for your kind words.

They have not been here............but they think its too expensive?
You can get general info by taking a ride to the locations you have questions about..........see for yourself what they look like. All in the eyes of the beholder.

You asked a general question and got a multitude of detailed answers. Your friends would benefit more by seeing for themselves. Or if you are supplying the informtion for you to see for yourself. Kapeesh?

Yup...that I get. Wasn't crazy about "they haven't been here...yet they think its too expensive?" That wasn't a great first line, in my opinion. You start off by mocking. I meant home prices, based on MY purchase price, which wasn't the issue. The AREAS they were looking at were. I did ask a general question and appreciate the helpful answers.
