Default Where would you rather celebrate Christmas

A question for those snowbirds who also own a home in The Villages. Given a choice....would you rather celebrate up North with the cold and the snow or...in the warmer weather in the Villages without the snow. What would you choose?

In my home in the Villages with my grandchildren from Ohio would be optimal. Having said that, I would rather be in the Villages.

I'll spend my holidays back home in NYC. The city is magical at that time. Oh yeah the kids and family are there too ;-)

That is hard. I WISH all of us, our other daughter, son in law and grandkids could be together at Christmas...here.

But Sweetie and Helene make the bells ring for me, and Santa will come and the Christmas story will unfold just as it always has.

Since I have never, ever liked cold weather I enjoy doing Christmas in warm places. I have done it in Hawaii, Hong Kong and Bangkok as well as Key Biscayne. This year I am doing it in Newport beach, CA where they have a boat parade.

To me, nothing beats a Christmas dinner in a house or restaurant located right on the sand of a beach in a balmy place, a place where I can hear the waves crashing on the beach.

I like to be at home in The Villages. I do not need the cold weather anymore (sometimes it is cold in TV, too). Jesus was born, raised and later lived in Mediterranean Climate …… and Christmas is a reminder of his birthday.
