Default Best dinner ever!

I just had the tastiest dinner I’ve ever had - fried chicken breast (Popeyes), green beans, homemade mashed potatoes, and rich, homemade, chicken gravy. I wonder, what would you consider the most perfect meal?

A dozen jumbo steamed Maryland blue crabs with Old Bay seasoning, and beer. Nothing else is needed.

A thick medium rare steak grilled to perfection, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and a glass of wine. Followed by an incredible chocolate dessert.

I like your style. Popeye's makes incredible chicken.

What comes to mind is a lobster roll (while being in Maine) and a decaf latte.

I suspect Popeyes isn't going to make many lists.

I had it once. First bite was awesome. 2nd bite? I felt my arteries start to clog, my cholesterol rising and I knew the grease taste would never go away or the smell come off my fingers.

Threw away the sandwich.

My husband and I had that once on a trip to Baltimore - we still talk about that more than thirty years later.

That sounds about as good as it gets, other than steamed Alaskan King Crab and freshly picked asparagus with drawn butter and a brandy sniffer filled with half Hennessy and half Grand Marnier. A few freshly shucked Wellfleet Oysters with fresh horseradish would take it over the top of culinary nirvana.

Klobasa, roasted potatoes and dandelion-green salad. Mom made this a couple of times every spring around Easter. Maybe potica for dessert.

And a shot or two of Slivovitz.

As many Virginia/Maryland blue crabs that I can catch in my 6 pots, steamed with vinegar, Old Bay and a full can of beer added. Just add ice cold beer and friends on the porch with a nice southeast breeze off the bay. Maybe a few of my cage raised oysters roasted on the grill with Old Bay butter.

Life on the Chesapeake Bay!

Too hard to cook tuna. Goes from undercooked to overdone faster than I can catch it
