Default Best Independence day decorations?

Hi all,
Which village or area has the best flag display and/or 4th of July decorations? I didn't see many in my travels today. Thanks!

I don't know if this would be considered a "display" but the entrance of the Village of Bridgeport at Lake Sumter is beautifully decorated with military banners and flags on every patriotic holiday.

My wife and I just returned from a 4 day cruise and I felt so good when we entered The Villages at the St. James Gate. The entrance was beautifully decorated in red, white, and blue, and US Flags were proudly displayed on both sides of St. Charles all the way to Tamarind Grove!!

Great job Villagers!!!!!

I would say Jun 30 was too soon.
Have a look on Friday.
If the decorations are up too soon they get stolen...................

Rain Lily Loop in the Village of Sanibel has flags lining the street on both sides. Every home put out flags. Looks terrific!

The Villages is the most patriotic place I have ever lived. I love that about it.

And very traditional in all of the good ways. Lots of places to worship, lots of people who live within the law, Lots of veterans and lots of people who worked hard all of their lives and saved for these wonderful years.

I love that about this place. Makes me proud to be an American and a Villager.

Default St. James Gate - A Winner!!

The ST. JAMES GATE is always nicely done and the residents always cover the sign with clear heavy plastic and then attach the decorations, banners and flags to the plastic - never nailed or taped onto the sign itself. I noticed some residents along Buena Vista South of 466A trying in vain to nail buntings to their signs, only to have them blown down. I'm sure there are "rules" that apply to decorating our entrance signs and they probably prohibit nailing or duct taping directly to them. Everyone should check out the way it's done at St. James Gate before it is taken down....
