Default Best restaurant for Thanksgiving Dinner

The quantity of food isn't as important as it tastes good. e.g. No boxed potatoes or frozen green beans.

Had Thanksgiving dinners at Arnold Palmer CC, Taverna Red, Katie Belle's, and Red Sauce. Arnold Palmer CC had the best IMHO. Was not impressed with the other places Thanksgiving offerings. This has been over a period of seven years though.

The only place I want to have Thanksgiving dinner is with my family. Since I can't do that, I'll just cook a small bird with all the trimmings.

Yes having family for Thanksgiving is really what it is all about. When that isn't possible, you need to make alternate plans. But I can't imagine cooking an entire Thanksgiving dinner for two. So out for 18 holes and dinner!

If I wasn't having Thanksgiving at home, I would recommend Vic Embers. Real Quality!!!!!

I would second the vote for Vic's Embers in Leesburg. Vic has carved turkey every Sunday for brunch. Definitely, it is the best turkey around the area.

I'll third Vic's Embers as we love the dining experience there. But another alternative for T.G. which we enjoyed very much was the Hacienda CC Thanksgiving buffet. We were all very satisfied with the food quantity, quality and service. If we weren't getting together with family at a home this year we would definitely return to Hacienda.

Default Cracker Barrel

You're gonna think I am crazy but a couple years ago we had to have Thanksgiving dinner out and we had it at the Cracker Barrel on Rt27 and it was fantastic no kidding and cheap to boot! All "real food" nothing from a can and we even considered doing it more often but others are right nothing beats your own kitchen at home.

I would suggest you read some of the reviews from last year regarding thanksgiving dinner at the local Country Clubs and resturants and make up your own mind.

Directions........walk right in it's around the back, just a half a mile from the railroad track.
I agree that Cracker Barrel does a pretty good job.
