Default Neighborhood Pool Restrooms

Tried to use the bathrooms at the Dunedin neighborhood pool and they were both occupied. After a while men came out of both restrooms and got into a landscaping vehicle. When I entered the ladies room it was filthy. My question is, are construction, landscapers and other trades permitted to use those facilities?

There is no lock on any gate, and they are public restrooms, why wouldn't they be allowed? Where else would they go? Call and complain about the "filthy" ladies room. I've seen the restrooms checked on a regular basis and have never seen one that could be described as filthy.

The restrooms are for anyone who is in need to use them.

it is restroom. be thankful the workers use the proper areas and not the bushes and behind truck doors.
Unlike the homeowners that think the pool and mail station area is a public toilet for their dogs.
(which is not public area, owned by the developer, just as you own your property)

Default I'm just thinking.....

My thought is that the pools are for villagers, correct??? The rest rooms are Inside the pool gate. Why would these rest rooms be made for the public when they are in the same gait as the pools? People who aren't Villagers aren't allowed to walk into the rec enters and use the rest rooms are they? It really makes no sense to me. While visiting another city, let's say St. Petes, and there is a planned community that has a pool with a fence around it with a pool house and rest rooms. Would you walk into that pool area and use the rest rooms??? I wouldn't have the nerve to do so. It's not my space. I don't believe anyone except people who live in The Villages and pay our amenity fees should be allowed to us the pool rest rooms. They should use the gas station or store rest rooms like other contractors do in other places. Not that I'm not grateful for their service, because I am. I just see that it seems wrong for everyone and his brother to use those facilities.

When you gotta go you gotta go. It's funny the only time you see these comments is when the BIRDS are back in their magical winter wonderland and it's their place and workers are peeing in their place. How date they. Lol

How would you know by looking at someone whether they own a house in TV or not? I mean, who is to say that the construction worker isn't an amenities paying, card carrying home owner?

Dunedin's restrooms are used all the time (it's where the construction is happening)....my wife says at least they get to wash their hands, especially the food truck folks

Why are men using the ladies room? Rig the rest rooms so they open with a owners card.

Yes, visitors can use the rec center restrooms but the outdoor workers are considerate enough to not want to track their dirt indoors. As to using gas station restrooms, etc., maybe if there were public facilities closer than they are, the workers would be happy to use them. As has been said, using pool bathrooms certainly beats the alternatives.

Actually Happinow does raise a good point? How do they use these restrooms when they are in the gated area? Guess another Villager is letting them in? Don't have a problem with it just wondering. Isn't it sad we have to explain ourselves to not get beat up at times?

I think the developer has agreed to let the workers use the rest rooms. It beats smelly port a potties all over the place.
