Default Only one LSV???

My wife and I enjoyed a LSV last year and spoke to folks who have come back several times before buying. I was planning for a return next year, but was told that the LSV was a "one time offer". I understand that my salesperson can authorize other types of visits. Can anyone tell me what other kinds of visits there are and how they differ from the LSV?

Not really.. I just got an email from our salesman. He seems to be directing us to a hotel or private rental. Very discouraging...

The LSV is supposed to be for people who want to come and see what the Villages has to offer and what it's all about. They always gave some coupons and freebies to help people enjoy their time here.
If people want to come back for a vacation, then they need to rent a place or stay at a hotel.

Actually, we were planning to look at some more homes with an eye towards a purchase in the next year or so. This was really more than a vacation.

Sometimes people want to come back a second time to look at the homes. They don't always do that on the first visit.
Back in the day, the freebies they would give people was awesome !! I would talk to people that would be on their 4th or 5th LSV and then they would say they didn't think they would ever move to Florida. They just like coming here every year for a vacation. LOL

We looked the first time and will do so again when we come back. We are putting everything in order and are very serious about becoming frogs. I know that I have heard others say that they made multiple LSL visits before buying. I this a new policy?

It's not like they gave us much. I could have stayed at the Waterfront for another $20 a night. Other than that, we got a free movie and golf cart. It is the feeling of staying in one of the homes that gives folks an idea of what life in TV is really like. I suppose we will just have to rent..

Well then see, you answered your own question. The reality is that not much is needed to encourage folks to buy houses so ....

So..if you don't need to spend the money to sell a house , you don't.

Economics 101. AND good business.

Now if you want to know where the money goes, just check out the beautiful and expensive accessories at the rec centers.

And...things are selling fast. I just accompanied a friend who was house shopping and the ones he was looking at quickly got pending signs. Maybe not in all kinds of houses but it sure was true of two bedroom patio villas in the last couple of weeks. New AND resale.

When we first came here, you would rent or stay at the hotel in Spanish Springs. They would give you funny money to spend here that was just about equal to what you paid to rent plus all kinds of coupons and deals. it was awesome.
We bought a lot the first we were here, then came and stayed to check it out. LOL A little backwards.

Second Lifestyle Preview stays are possible for people who are at the point of coming to buy, not just out kicking tires. The sales reps individually are the host/guide for each preview stay/couple, in addition to all the customers they already are working for, plus new ones they're connecting with daily at the sales center. So from what a sales rep told me, they have an allowance of LP stay timeframes that they each have to use wisely...as an investment in a sale they have a good chance of making.

Imagine if a car dealership selling Lexus or Acura allowed every customer to take out and drive a new demo car for 2 weeks, for $100/week, when the looker is really planning not to buy a car within 3 years or are really planning to buy a Honda somewhere else. People would take advantage and over-use it to the point that the dealer would stop doing it.

Gracie - same thing happening in our Hadley neighborhood - go up for sale one day and pending within a week. It's crazy and the prices just keep going up. Since inventory is so low on resales I guess you can price it high within reason and it will sell.
