Default Bird Cage Question

Are the screens on Birdcages CAT PROOF ?
I hear that a 20-20 screen is recomended for the NO SEE'MS bugs. Can a cat tear that screen up ? ie: climbing ? (yeah, he is bad like that)
Thanks, Will

We have pet screen on our cage. We have 2 Maine Coons that climb the screen to chase geckos. 8 years now, and not a single tear in the screen - it works fantastic!

Our two 18 month old cats climb the birdcage and leave bent screen wires. I'm sure in a few years it's not going to look nice. They can't tear it to escape.
