This could be an opportunity, create an inflatable scare crow and sell them on Amazon. If you make it scary enough it also might reduce golf cart theft.

I'm not sure if there's something attracting them to our cart, or if there's something we can do to deter them from finding the steering wheel as an attractive landing space. Ideas?

Put a plastic bag over the steering wheel. It works for us.

Default Gaeckles

when in Iowa we had grackles come in from the fields to lay eggs and raise the young. I tried to sho them away from that once and they made a line of crap on the driveway everyday for a week or so

A crow flew into my cart and stole a granola bar in one graceful and obviously practiced movement.
I suspect they have a training facility nearby.

It happens more than you think.... they even took candy out of the cup holder and did their business on the steering wheel...

The bird wants to purchase your cart and left a deposit.

For a while there, I was leaving a large piece of tin foil in the cart and wrapping it on the wheel so they wouldn't sit on it. Seemed to work....

Leave a BIRD dog in the front seat. Or a record of a dog growling.

Take super market plastic bags and hang them from your side snaps. This should keep the birds out. First time I saw it, I didn’t understand why. I asked someone what it was for.
