I am currently in the middle of a large project that I am completing for someone else, so I cannot bring my equipment to your house, and I am going to guess you do not want to bring the TV to mine. If you can remove the power supply board, I am certain I can replace the parts. I can also help you with parts suppliers, I like Jameco Electronics - Electronic Components.

sorry I should have said I have the board out--looks like two capacitors are bulged per the youtube vidio they are 10volt 1000mf but they replaced theirs with higher voltage units and I don't know enough beyond that. I don't know the protocal for this format but I'll identify as Dale can be reached by phone 502-773-0525--this whole project is just me seeing if I could do the repairs myself but per on line effort it looks like I could bye the whole board for around 25-30 dollars Its an older Samsung tv with good picture but took forever to warm up and get a picture I don't want to put a lot into it $ wise-- anyway if you wouldn;t mind taking a look at the board I could come by your place and a least get your input thanks Dale

Send me a PM with your phone number and we can meet, and I can help you get the parts. NOTE: I do not post my phone number on open forums, and I had previously sent you a PM.

I'm sure you've looked, but have you considered just replacing the board itself. I did a similar repair on a Vizio TV a couple of years ago. Picked up a board on eBay, and it worked like a charm

I'm impressed and I should not be knowing where you are from.
I'm a Pennsatuckeyin and
We try and in most cases or projects succeed.
I have read many or your comments and I'd say that you are spot on with your advice. I do not live in the Villages but have friends there ofcourse.
Anyhow keep up the good work.
