Happy Fourth of July everyone.

I was wondering if there were any fireworks celebratiions in or around TV?

I haven't been to one in a long while.

Sadly, TV has no fireworks, whatsoever. I've always thought that a barge in the middle of Lake Sumter would be perfect. However, fireworks are expensive, and serious dangers in dry country!

Many local communities (of the more traditional kind) have given up their municipal displays because of money.

Considering how dry it has been (despite several good rains in the last couple of days), fireworks might be just the very last thing anyone wants here!

I love a good public display, too, but we won't find one here in TV!

Fireworks are an abomination (I like to get dramatic at times). Seriously, fireworks are not allowed in TV because of their fire hazard. Personally I dislike fireworks because of their detrimental effects on animals both domestic and wildlife. Some surronding towns do have fireworks.
