Default Boat ownership for non-FL resident

If I buy a boat (14-16ft) in Florida and keep it in FL, do I .....

1. Need proof of title and have to register the boat (motor will be more than 9.9HP)? (Is FL a title State?)

2. Need proof of title for the boat trailer?

3. Does the state require additional insurance on the trailer and/or boat or does the vehicle insurance cover and boat and trailer when being towed.

Where we live, the trailer needs to be licensed and is covered by the vehicle insurance when we tow it. The boat, trailer and motor are covered by our home insurance while parked on our property.
