[Arctic Fox]

I have seen several bobcats here over the years, but all have had lightish spotted fur. Saw one yesterday evening that was dark brown, with no visible spots. Is it likely to have been the male, or do they just vary in coloration?

It was definitely a bobcat, and I was on my first glass of wine.

Bobcats vary in color from beige to brown. I don't think it is gender related. They don't appear to be much of a threat to people or pets.
