While I'm not familiar with every country club in TV, I can only think of one that has outdoor music, Mallory, and it seems to be only during the "happy hour" time of day. All other clubs that I'm familiar with (including Havana) either have no music or have it indoors.
Bonifays is during their daily Specials also.

One of the waiters at Evan's Prairie told me that were going to eventually have outdoor music. I guess the point is, regardless of what a CC is or isn't doing at any given time, they may make changes in the future.

Absolutely. If you see a country club, just assume there will be live entertainment. If you see train tracks, just assume trains will be rolling on those tracks. If you see a sink hole in your neighborhood, just assume your sinkhole insurance will be canceled pronto. That way you're never surprised or disappointed.

That's great! I'll have to get back over there and check it out. Personally, I would love it if I could sit on my lanai and hear a live band...I'd probably plan my neighborhood parties to coincide with it.

Wonder why the music needs to be outdoors. It would probably not be a problem if they kept it indoors. Music style is a personal choice. I would love to hear a symphony orchestra play but a bunch of drunks trying to sing karaoke, not so much.

It depends on the layout of the individual CC, but for many of them, the patios provide the best location for not only the band, but for dancing as well.

I really think it's not right to call Bonifay a bad neighbor, unless the issue is presented to management. IMHO, you don't have the right to complain about something you're not willing to change.

Default Amazes Me

So many can't wait to move here, and then want to start changing things to suit them. All 80K people plus can't be wrong. There is something for everyone.

Thorough research could solve a lot of issues if done before making the move.

Just sayin'

Can you imagine the audacity of that original poster complaining about such a minor thig as having to put up with loud music. There you go again anoher of those pesky resident whinners. The OP is probably one ofthose dum dhere fulltime residents referred to as elitist frogs. so what if the OP paid better than $600,000 to $750,000 plus for a home. I continue to find it troubling that so many people on TOTV are judgmental.

To the OP if I were in your place I'd complain too. Who the heck, other than teenie boopers, wants to hear loud music day or night Arrgh what an assault on the senses.

Why call the OP elitist and assume they live in the premier section?
We live off Bonifay Path and hear nothing from Bonifay GC.
While we have not gone yet on a Friday night (but will in the future) our neighbors get a huge table for around 24 and enjoy themselves immensely.
Yes, depending on where you live ANYWHERE in the USA you might have traffic, airplane noise, trains, music etc.
Work around the music by enjoying it for free (no drinks/ dinner at the club) or go to a movie or out for dinner when the music plays.
Better yet; grab a few neighbors; go up and enjoy all the fun like everyone else.

Rodie: I think most of us appreciate your situation---plus the concern of your neighbors. I would get my neighbors that are concerned about the music and ask for an appointment with the manager/principal of Bonifay. Perhaps there is some compromise that can be worked out. Location location very important when you purchase in TV or any other community. Good luck.

We live in a rural commuity in nj Most of the people wanted to see development be stoped. So they changed the zoning so the farmers land was less valuable and then when the farmers were unable to sell, They complained about the smell from the cows. Some times you just have to deal with life. Enjoy the moment or smell the cows

I really use to enjoy the music at havana. They started at 5 and played until 8. When they no longer had the music i ask the manager and he said neighbors complained. As far away as those houses are and music over by 8,can't imagine why they would complain. Music inside havana during dinner hour much to loud.
