Don't forget that the kids at The Villages Charter School are collecting boxtops. With all the cooking going on this week, snip a few off and drop them off at one of the Elementary schools close to Walmart when school reopens next week. The new 4th and 5th Grade Center is on Tatonka near the softball fields and has a box in the front office for them.
Each year this program can donate up to $20,000 per school. Let's help them!

Not to be contrary, but the money would be better used at one of the schools in the areas outside TV. TVCS are doing quite well for themselves. But hey, they're your boxtops so dropped them where you like.

I am sure the money will be well used and very appreciated at any school. It is a wonderful and easy way that General Mills will donate up to $20,000 per school. Boxtops need to be in by March 1st for the last donation date of the school year.

So if all the groups could ask their members to check their cabinets and clip those boxtops and drop them off to the school of their choice by Feb. 18th it could make a difference. Each boxtop is worth .10 cents that otherwise is just tossed in the trash.

The schools I know of that are collecting and participating in the program are The Villages Charter Elementary and Middle Schools. They are located off 466 near Walmart.
